An existing Podiatry and Chiropractic Clinic located in the centre of suburbia approached Pirrello Design Associates to transform and expand the single storey dilapidated cottage.

After a meeting with Ryde City Council and the business partners, our task was to address the lack of off-street car parking at street level, expand the existing ground floor commercial zone to incorporate additional consultation rooms, rehabilitation zone, radial shock room and equipment storage room and add a residential zone incorporating two generous bedrooms, open plan living, meals and kitchen including a bathroom, laundry and balcony on the first floor.
 
The existing commercial building was upgraded to comply with the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.

The business owners have relayed to our firm they have never been busier
due to the commercial zone expansion and the first floor was tenanted within the first week of advertising with a local Real Estate Agency.
