Located in a conservation area with beautifully presented period homes, filled with old charm architectural design features. The owners purchased a narrow plot of land, with a vision of raising their family in a beautifully designed period home to replicate the architecture lining the street.

 

We were commissioned to design a large single storey family home on the property, with a freestanding office and children’s playroom flanking the rear boundary. Council’s guidelines were extremely restrictive but we managed to overcome the hurdle and design a home to meet our client’s expectation.
 

The home incorporates an open style living, dining and kitchen at the rear
overlooking the new landscaped gardens via large glazed doors. The home also incorporates four generous sized bedrooms, ensuite, bathroom, lounge and carport. The design of the home has been oriented to capture generous eastern and northern sunlight to enhance the internal spaces.

 

The design of this beautiful home exceeded our clients expectation and have recommended our firm to undertake major alterations and additions to the adjoining heritage listed home.
